I already knew how to make Ema Datshi and it also tasted quite fine. But it was not satisfactory. Then I knew I was making some mistakes while cooking it. I began to observe while my parents made it. So I have tried their method and found it very effective. This is the steps to make Ema Datshi: Wash your chilies and cut it vertically, I usually cut it into three parts. Put the chilies in the pot and pour just a little amount of water but make sure the water will not dry out while boiling. Before turning the stove on, pour a little bit of oil, fermented cheese, and salt. I also like to put garlic but i first smash them before putting it into the pot. Then turn your stove on and close the lid. When the water is boiling, mix the curry and grate the cheese(processed cheese). Then mix it again and close the lid. After few minutes turn the stove off.
